Nice one!
I particularly like the snake pic and the cane toad one... aren't they poisonous those things? How likely are they to kill you (do u have to touch it, or eat it or what do you have to do?).
The cockatoo pic is a good one too - I can imagine that thing crunching my finger... reason i mention that, is that on one visit to Durban we stopped at Umgeni Birdpark and there was a macaw on a perch minding his own business and seemed friendly enough - he hopped on to my arm and then back on to the perch again... when I offered my arm once more he decided that the end of my ring finger would be a perfect snack.
It was frustrating trying to decide what to do as he wasn't letting go and I didn't want to exaclty beat it against a tree or something to make it let go (and in so doing attract unwanted attention from the staff).
Eventually (after about 30 or 40 seconds) it decided to let go and I was able to retreat, nursing my injured digit. It got me right on first knuckle and still have 2 small scars from it.

LOL bloody birds!! Cane toads can be poisonous but *apparently* you can get a high by licking them :P
An offering from me, from when i was in Malaysia last year:

This dodgy jetty supplied a large fishing fleets' docking, which was destroyed in the 2005 Tsunami. The govt rebuilt one for them, but they didnt trust it, so they built this one, right next to the governments!!!
Ill have to dig around and look for a few more good ones i have, good thread Mark.

Yeah that was one of those fluke shots where you just turn round and fire off a shot and it turns out beautifully. It was taken on a 4WD tour we did out into the desert at sunset - thrashing through dune after dune in a modified Landcruiser. It was only 20mins out of Dubai as well. It's a totally trippy place to visit. But that was over a year ago *sigh* wish I could do the trip again tomorrow!

Yea they are... Look so amazing its hard to believe they're real!
These are some pics I took with a Canon Ixus 75 point and shoot camera while i was in Thailand two weeks ago. They are of the resort I stayed at.
Not quite the same level as some of the above shots, but I was not really trying to make the front cover of a magazine. But they turned out ok, so thought I would share. Flame away!

Hahahah!!! Man Hawks I really like those two bird pics LOL
What a cool looking fella
hmmm.... All of those photos are great. I would have been proud to have taken them. (I am not a photographer, so I am no expert - haha)
I am going to have a look through some of mine and see what I can find.
I had a trip to Melbourne earlier this year and took some (approx 300) photos of buildings etc. These are the more artistic ones. Some of you vistorians may recognise where they are.:D
These are from all around the place. It is amazing how a dreary day can produce some great shots. The lone tree for an example is one of my favourites. Sometimes it just adds the right mood.
Some nice pictures there, i dont think i have anything decent to show but ill have a look through what ive taken :)
