DVD Recorders

Does anyone know if I can record the footage I take on my DV Camera and burn it straight onto a DVD by using a DVD Recorder ?

It takes ages to put the DV Camera footage onto my computer, and then I have to burn it onto a DVD, I am trying to cut out the computer stage and go straight to DVD.

Yea pretty sure you can but might depend on the dvd recorder i have a panasonic dvd recorder and it has dv input and sd card slot
