2010 OZVR4 Calendar Discussion Thread

Well guys, it's that time again. Time to dust off your cameras and wash, wax and polish your cars as it's time for the 2010 OZVR4 Calendar.

We had a pretty successful calendar for this year. Given it's very short notice and March release date, we managed to sell 14 copies!

This time we hope to step it up a notch. The idea behind the 2010 Calendar is to be creative, we're after a good quality product this time (even better than this years) and in order to achieve this we need you guys to blow us away with your incredible car and photography skills. And if you don't have good photo skills, get someone else to take the photo for you, and if you don't think you have an incredible car, take a photo of someone elses, the submission doesn't necessarily have to be of your car (though it would be considerate to ask permission of the owner).

Think outside of the box for this one because this time we have more members, more time available and a higher set of requirements, so its going to be a tough competition.

So what does this mean now?

Well, how this will work is the person with the highest votes will get December, second highest votes will get November and so forth.

In terms of availability, the calendar is not quite ready just yet. I'm just waiting for the test copy to come through to make sure that all is well. At this moment, it should be available to purchase mid-late next week, plenty of time before the new year. More details will be posted soon.

Talking about Photoshop as well, if you want your photo a little edited for that extra 'pop', dont hesitate to ask a couple of the regulars here who I sure are more than willing to help.

I think December should be for Lost/Broken/Damaged Or Stolen, and should feature any carnage shots. Get as many cars, within reason onto the one page.
Oh yeah and January should feature Granpa! Because he has travelled the most and survived to tell the tale.

Depends on when we finish our project up here (should have been out end of July). If we don't finish the project I'm due on the 28th :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Sorry Derek, the deadline is set in stone now, its unfortunate that some people won't be in a position to submit but we need time for the voting process, then time for getting the orders together and then lastly get the Calendars printed. Please also bear in mind that, its that time of year when everyone wants to get calendars done.

Still open for discussion, though we need to make a decision soon. Last time we went with Redbubble (http://www.redbubble.com/) and their services are very easy to deal with and very quick, I'm happy to go through them again.

But if anyone has any more ideas feel free to share.
