Hey guys, should I start working on another Nav Run for around November?

Or I was thinking of organising a Go-Kart day at the Indy-800 outdoor track (http://butterflyfarm.com.au/indy800.html).

If we could manage about 18-19 people (pretty easy by the looks of last cruise) it'd cost about $50 each for an hour on the track. I assume it'd be set up like a race meet type thing, but I'll have to make a call and find out more info.

What would we all prefer to do? Either idea can be followed by a bbq and piss-up at my joint if you so wish.

:D

Is your toilet on your ceiling Paul? It's just I normally piss down that's all. But hey I'm all for trying new things...

LOL.

I might be up for this... pending approval from the wife of course

Well I don't like the idea of a golden shower donated by Brad, but I like the idea of BBQ, Drinking and Driving.. Not in that order, but yeah =]

Go Karts for $50 sound awesome!

Sounds Brilliant Paul, Let the organising begin....

I'll work on something and pass to you when I've got it sorted....

I'm in whatever the event is!

If NavRun, i'll take my missus to be my nav again and THEN if she sees a garage sale, pretty sure will take a stopover just like the last time LOL.

Whats a nav run?

Tom
22-09-2009, 11:55 AM
I think it's when you have a navigator with you who reads out directions, and you got to find clues and other things all around the place!

It's like a big group driving game =]

Emu
22-09-2009, 12:04 PM
That's the one... And prizes for most correct answers, fastest time, funniest photo, last to arrive, etc....

Perhaps Wes could put up some merchandise as incentive (hint, Hint)... Entry fee covers BBQ, Prizes and the like...

But Paul, we can't finish at your place then. No mystery in it...

Sounds like fun, I will come if I can. Its a pity my girlfriend is allergic to maps, they seem to make her angry.

LOL well...I do live in Glossodia! Things certainly are strange around here.

I was thinking of incorporating both, but I think that won't work too well if someone gets lost and ends up late to Go-Karts.

I'll post a poll when I get home to see what would be preferred and then I'll get cracking with organisation.

Tom
22-09-2009, 02:49 PM
I think the Go-Karts should be organised for a different time than the NavRun.. For that exact reason!

Kat and me are looking for plans for an official OzVR4 NSW Xmas thing, so Paul if you want to help out with that you're more than welcome to =] We need something that families can join too.. =]

Tom and Kat,

If you guys have something already in the wings, I'll step back and let you plan...

Connor
22-09-2009, 09:17 PM
Well, here's my 3 cents.

First, keep Nav Run and go-karts as separate dates :)

Next, I vote Adam as funny bastard of the year cause that's hilarious.

Third, I think all you Sydney folk should make the trip to Goulburn to say Hi to Nudge and Kat and commiserate (sp?) the smash up of Kitty and their missing the Bathurst cruise because of mechanical issues. It's only 2 hours away for most of you, I'm sure a gentle cruise down the highway would be a good family day out!

Nav Run sounds good, except I assume some local knowledge would help and that's put me at a disadvantage :P

VR-04-TT
22-09-2009, 09:34 PM
We'll definitely keep the two things separate. I was quite hesitant to do them both together in the first place :D

Local knowledge won't really be of any help as everyone will get a very well set out list of directions and all the questions will require good, watchful eyes.

A trip to Goulburn would be great too. We can just chuck a left and head out to Wakefield for a spin...or cruise out to Braidwood or Batemans Bay...that's an awesome road! I loooooove Gov't Bend!

Always do a revised Southern Highlands Run, except return via coast for fun at the beach "Family Friendly Event" Might get someone in the inflato santa suit for the kids?? and one of our roadside BBQ's...... with combined un-veiling ceremony for the revised updated kitty....... If all the bits and pieces ever arrive.........

Judging by my (unfortunately) expanding girth, that might be a role for me

I've done Sexpo.

In fact I wasn't that fond of it...the missus & I went there for a laugh but we only stayed for maybe 30 mins. Too many weirdos & freaks there when I went.
Though I had a laugh getting a DVD guy to explain to Mel the differences between R & X ratings lol.

@Bruce - I already know what your Christmas wish is... & I bet it's the same as mine ..... * nudge nudge wink wink *

IMO its the freaks and weirdo's that makes it a good laugh, but each to their own, certainly an eye opener for anyone thats never been just for the shock and awe WTF value!!

Sorry I meant freaks & weirdos in the vein of creepy looking blokes with unwashed hair & trenchcoats & some real strange people who might be better off away from society!
I was actually quite bored with it!
Double-penetrating dildos - meh.
The latest in anal lubrication - meh.
Tera Patrick does a naked dance on a projection screen - meh.

LOL not sure what a big VR4 lineup outside Sexpo might generate in terms of comments...

Sorry, my intent was that Kat doesn't have to do any driving so she doesn't get in trouble for breaking more cars :)

And trust me, if you guys think Clyde Mountain is good (Bateman's Bay to Braidwood) you should DEFINITELY try Brown Mountain sometime (Bega to Cooma). Probably still not as tight as some other roads, but it's less busy, longer and has great views.

And we don't need Sexpo - we're the porn capital!

Don't listen to Bella Tom! Telling the police (AKA pigs) you have swine flu would probably win you a cavity search for you and the car. :)

I'll do it again, I don't mind doing it. Out here (Hawkesbury) works well as there's less traffic to worry about and good changes of scenery.

I like watching everyone's faces all twisted and contorted going "WTF DOES THIS QUESTION MEAN!?"

lol, nah I'm not that nasty ;)

That area sounds good Paul, it'll be a whole region I'm yet to discover because of time factors (ie, rushing to and from somewhere in a day) :)

Maybe Tom strapped to a pole could be one of the stops of the day? Pull out a whip, crack him across the butt cheeks, take a photo, move on to the next destination.

I'm working on a Nav Run course. I don't have net access at home (no phone line connected at the moment) so I haven't been able to update you all.
