But fark will it look hot if the car is low enough ;)

put a 235 on, pull about 20mm out of your guards and you're laughing.

Not true.

8.5 +30 will sit 2mm further out than my 9 +38's.

So yes, they will fit. Minor guard roll on the rear with a 235/40R18. Fronts will hang only a little. This is assuming the car is lowered a little to take advantage of the natural cambering in of the suspension...

Tyres are 245/45/17 at the moment (came with the rims) so they aren't going on the car till I can sort out swapping of the 215/45/17's over to the new wheels, and some springs as fitment is rather mexican at stock height.. but it's getting there!

perfect at the back, need to be 10mm further in at the front though :D How is clearance on the rear suspension arm, it must be close?

With some skinnier tyres you'll have no issues with clearance at all ;)

Gotta love good fitment :D Must say though, 17's look tiny on a Legnum...

Well for the bargain price they were I couldnt resist sticking with 17's - I just wanted something that had decent width/offset :)

Now at least with the $$ I saved, I can lower it, giving me propper fitment and stance... just the diameter isn't quite where I want it but oh well.

They came off an R33 GTS-t - of which they were an OK fit on that at the front, but too skinny at the rear.
