Hey Guys,

I really CBF going thru all the wheel thread to find out which wheels do and do not clear VR4's with Brembos fitted so i am starting this thread.

I will moderate it and make a list of confirmed wheels that we know will clear EVO 6-9 Brembos on VR4's.

Please do not take this as 100% proof and please consult a professional before making a purchase..

scottie, might want to mention this is for oem evo6-9 brembos, as evoX brembos are different. obivously if you went in that direction you hav an idea of what is what

evo 5 to 6 I believe they are 17x7.5" but the evo 7 to 9 are 17x8"

My Rays Volk GT-V's (18x8 +30) came off an Evo VIII so will clear Brembos. Good idea by the way, although it'll take a long time to collate it all!

these dont fit...otherwise i would of ordered them instead of getting my GTR wheels. Jesse Streeter confirmed it with WORK. They clear nissan and subaru brembos, but not mitsubishi.

we need to make sure that any wheels we list in here clear mitsubishi evo brembos, not just "brembos" in general...

I got that information this afternoon from my official Work Wheels brochure (2010 edition), Work Wheels also offered them to me when I was looking at replacing my CR Kais because they did not fit.

This is weird, because Jesse said WORK told him they will clear brembos but not evo brembos....seriously if this turns out to be false, i'm going to be rather not happy!

I have added a disclaimer that anybody should check this info before making any purchases. I only wanted to get an idea of what, if any, designs were brembo compatible.

If the lower offset is OK, is there any reason why the 9.5 +30 will not clear?

Spoke design. I cant comprehend it either. 18x8.5 +30 will clear (non concave), yet 18x9.5 +30 (deep concave) doesnt and it's a whole inch wider...its bullshit.
