Hi there,

Up for sale is our white automatic 1997 Legnum VR4. Current circumstances see us with too many cars so unfortunately its time for the Legnum to go.

We bought this car off of Donkay up in QLD almost 2 years ago, mods and upgrades as of when we bought it as in following threads- including big turbos, big brakes, upgraded trans, coolers, ECU + injectors etc.. see posts below for all the goodies.

Car is optioned with and has fitted;
-Factory moonroof
-Towbar (rated to 1200kg braked)
-Tan leather interior
-Nardi woodgrain steering wheel and matching woodgrain trim
-Double DIN touchscreen headunit with aux input, bluetooth etc.
-Remote engine start
-Reversing camera


Low Kms for its age (85528kms at time of photos)

We haven't really changed anything, except for height on the coilovers, pod filter, and the addition of roof rails. Had head work done January 2013. The leggy has been really good to us, like all Legnums it has its quirks. AYC diff was replaced 2 months ago but haven't bled AYC fluid so is running open. Small coolant leak from rear turbo banjo fitting. Running on a Haltech Sprint 500 piggy-back ECU but our next adventure would have been to flash the stock ECU due to intermittent over-running and need for tune. Has buttons for cruise control and matching control motor but isn't connected. Will need wheel alignment asap (after replacement of diff) and new tyres not long after. Would love to do this work ourselves, but we just don't have the time anymore with too many other commitments.

Included in sale will be various parts including; stock airbox, stock suspension, spare ECU and TCU, stock intercooler, rear strut brace, and any other Legnum bits we find in the carport.

We aren't looking to have this for sale for 6 months, hence the stupidly low price. We have Dons receipts; over $20k+ spent on this car.

Registered in South Australia till mid Feb.

I was lucky haha. Wide eyed, innocent female who doesn't know much about cars, throw in a baby seat and pram in the back and it was through the ID check nice and quick lol. Silly them.

Probably is, and maybe it would come to that down the track, but Id love for someone to have the chance to enjoy it as much as I have. Sadly it just has to go, and quickly.

I have seen this in person and the photo of the brakes does not do justice to just how huge they are! I think Don said he paid something like 5k for the brakes alone. Definitely a good price, good luck with sale.
