I thought it looked great when I owned the car, but I was 21/22 then and the whole Fast And Furious look appealed to me. I wouldn't go for similar styling now, would much rather spend the cash under the hood and go for the stealth/sleeper approach

What work needs to be done to fit Evo 7-9 wings on Galants? Do the mounting holes line up stock for stock?

I'm not thinking about putting an OE one on, but some of the aftermarket lips available for them are quite nice.

That's the kind of thing I've had in mind, or a flatter more 'drag wing' style lip, that hangs behind the boot lid a little.

I have a yellow one that will be going on my car *sometime* this year lol. Just deciding on getting the full car resprayed or not. Silver with black roof and the bar on the spoiler will be black. Sound stupid?

Basically, maybe not so prominent. That one was custom made, I've seen the build thread for that car. Great looking car.

Whilst I don't mind either the de-winged VR4s or the subtle bootlip approach.
Also seeing these Evo 7 wings on a few Galants of late which I don't mind either...

Post others here for those that might be interested.

Hmmm...so that's basically what my car will look like with an Evo 8 CF spoiler?
Picked one up yesterday in very good condition, its a bit wide and don't know if I can modify it or create adaptor pads to raise it slightly and
support it over the rear panels.
My kid has got his heart set on it, not sure which way to go.

We ended up prototyping 2 HDPE 12mm blocks to fit this up as a trial.
Top profile suits the spoiler and the lower face is set up to align with the original boot holes.
What do you guys think?
