Hey guys, long time listener first time caller.
Got a problem with my 2001 legnum, FL, Auto.
driving it along today all was well however, as i neared home a strange noise came from the rear of the car sounding like a constant pumping/ electrical noise. when turning the car off it continues unless i disconnect the battery.
i've pulled the fuel pump relay and that hasn't changed it so that rules that out.
i removed the 10A fuse for the AYC and that wouldn't stop it either

Any ideas on what to do/ how to fix it ?
Many thanks
Ash

Where was the fuse you pulled? There is one in the engine bay as well as under the dash, you shouldn't usually need to pull both but once they are there shouldn't be any power getting to the AYC pump.

I think the one in the engine bay is shown by basic a picture of a diff and wheels, might have an M on it too. Big fuse, like 60amps, only one fuse box in the engine bay, near the battery
