Are there many Galants/Legnums in the Philippines?

There's quite a few galants here in the Philippines,

though there aren't legnums locally made.

the sedan galant's with a 6a13tt runs on a cvt transmission here,

galant's run on a 4g63 engine with manual transmission.

Ahh yeah. Well since i havent been back 'home' (i was born here) since I was 2, I should probably go visit sometime soon. My parents said I got sick because there were too many mosquitos...or something.. so my dad didnt want to risk it and took me back home!

My mum is going back home soon for a month or too.. see the family etc..

With a CVT you say?! Would have to be fair beefy to handle the low down torque! Does it drive well? Manual conversions are popular I'm guessing? It would be a vaery early variant of the CVT, any common problems?

Car looks good! I like the first set of 18's.

I'll be daring and somewhat alternative and say I actually like the Lenso's the best. I think they were the only ones that fitted nicely?

It won't be a cvt. Maybe a 5 speed auto from some other car?

it's a cvt straight from the factory partnered w/ a 6a13 engine and no awd.

that's why a couple of 8gs here in Manila had their's converted to MT to fully

utilize the engine or change engine with a 6a13tt plus the awd.

that's why we envy your 8gs there coz its on a manual tranny and awd.

we're missing out a lot grrr...

the galants here in manila runs on invecs II for the 2.5liter and manual tranny for the 4g63 engine.
if we had the manual version that would have been great but they did not release it here...=(

invecs II on the the 6a13 gulps gasoline bigtime,torque is good but the tranny saps the power of the engine.
it's like there'a one second delay when you push on the gas,floor it, wait...then it's gonna kick in...so frustrating to drive.

the Napre Rims is in silver with polished lip, gives the ride a bit of VIP aura.=)

mitsubishi didn't come out w/ 6a13tt here in manila, only the 6a13.

other galant owners here changed their engine w/ a 6a13TT.
