Deep metallic blue is nice (similar to WRC Blue and Bayside Blue kind of idea), metallic red also is quite nice, as well as Candy Red, etc =]

That 180 looks nice (and is from the coolest place in the world) but the colour would look a bit poo on a VR4 I think. Especially against gold.

I know you didn't want a stock colour but there ARE some really nice VR4 colors. Maybe paint it a color that is available only in PFL's etc.
