Hi All,
Seeing if we can get the numbers together to go for a blat on Boxing day.
We'd need at least 4 cars to make it worthwhile.
Meeting Point:
The carpark of the "Feathers Hotel"
NE corner of Greenhill and Glynburn Road, Burnside.
When:
9am. Chat till about ~10am
Route:
An awesome set of roads through the Adelaide Hills. I run this on my bike all the time and its one of the best loops I have done.
(Roads should be quiet too).
1 - Meet in carpark.
2 - Up Greenhill road to just past the Mount Lofty/Greenhill intersection
3 - Turn left onto Woods Hill Road (route 51)
4 - Head North and stay on Route 51 (now Marble Hill road) till intersection with Loberthal Road.
5 - Cross over Loberthal Road, continue North on Route 51 (now Montacute Road)
6- Turn right, down into the Corkscrew Road.
7 - Follow Corkscrew till joins the Gorge Road.
8 - Turn right and run the Gorge.
9 - Turn right onto Cudlee Creek Road.
10 - Follow Cudlee into Loberthal.
11 - Stop near the pub for a breather and a chat.
12 - Eyeball all the Ducati owners.
13 - Blast back towards town on the awesome Loberthal road.
14 - Split from there and head home. Should be back around 12.30-1pm.
A good mix of on-camber fast sweepers and some tight technical stuff.
Just got to watch out for the Fuzz on Gorge Rd and keep it safe.
Plugs will be cleaned, tyres will be scrubbed, brakes will be squeaking.
The SA VR4 scene has been too quiet lately so lets drag our carcasses out of bed and do what these cars were built to do! The last VR4 cruise I went on was pretty awesome.
Post up if you can make it and we'll see if we can get the numbers
