Legnum/Galant Track Day Times

I searched but did not find, what are people doing time wise in their cars for trackdays?
Maybe we could get a thing going here with basic mods/tyres and times etc.

I'l go first.

Winton Raceway:
8G Galant manual street tyres Dunlop SP Sport Maxx 1:51.5407 1:50.7 (felt faster than the Legnum but had some temp issues couldn't push it) (second attempt had bad tyre issues! 6 year old street tyres aren't the greatest at the track!).
Legnum auto street tyres Bridgestone S001 1:50.1530

I'm booked in for Winton in a couple of weeks with the Galant now that I have a few more mods I'm looking forward to it.

At Winton today I got a 1:47.0417 on 5 year old used Z221 Hancook C30 (soft) 225/45/17 and 1:49.0284 on 5 year old Dunlop SP Sport Max 245/45/17. I'm sure there is still a lot more in it!

New pb for Winton 1:46.4272 but I'm not very consistent I need so much more practice.

Hey @Dice do you have anything on the track that has comparable times to the galant? Just interested to know what you're keeping up with

You can check the times on natsoft.com.au with car types but faster than standard skyline gtst, mx5, 86/brz. Similar to r32 gtr, evo, 370z with crap drivers. Slower than s2000, evo, gtr, rx7 etc with a good driver.

Impossible to compare directly because each car has different mod levels.

Running approx 200atw.

Did a new PB at Phillip Island 20/03/16 - 1:58.05

Alex (auto legnum, stock everything but a tune + semi slicks.. even stock suspension) and I went to Winton on Monday, he went Saturday as well. His PB was 1:48 mine was 1:49 in the Golf

wish i could have got more laps in but i had oil surge problems early on and tyres were dropping off after only two laps, next time will be the legnums go

Interesting and sorry for the necro, I manged a 1:47 in my FTO on RE003s and now have a track swift sport.

Ran a 1:50 in safe mode so severely down on power but heading back again soon, hoping for around 1:44-1:45.

Very keen to run the galant and see how it compares, doesn't handle as bad as I thought it would with coilovers, nothing like the swift though Also around 500kg heavier!

1:47 on average tyres seems pretty good.

May as well bump this. Did a 1:42.5 in the Galant before I binned it at Winton. Bridgestone RE71R
