Sweet, fingers crossed for ya bud. Even if it's a 7201 you should be able to find a flashable ECU somewhere.

I saw on the import monster page what i thought were a few ecu's. Is it a case of swap n go or is there compatabilty issues and the like.

simple as swap and go, can't remember about the auto vs manual

Putting an auto in a manual has had mixed results. But most often cause the engine light to come on. I believe manual into an auto works fine.

Shouldn't be any different

Autos have an ADDITIONAL ecu which sits on top of the ENGINE Ecu

Ok Mines a 7121 - Will have to source a better one. Anyone know of anywhere in Aus I can get 1. I seen them on that imoport moster of what ever its called. Should i just pick one of those?

Shtiv, can you confirm if any 7202/3 will be suitable for a PFL once flashed with appropriate base maps?

yes any 7202f or 7203fa is fine....

I have tried searching and I cant find where to buy a new ECU from being sure its a 7202/3. Do any of you guys know?

I thought tom had a bargain basement one, someone else was looking at it though so maybe it's gone, sorry I just sold my spare
